Design & Build Recording Studios That Perform at the Highest Level

We’ve been designing and building recording, podcast, and broadcast studios for over a decade. Our team combines construction expertise with acoustic engineering knowledge to deliver spaces that are quiet, controlled, and ready for production from day one.

Our Approach

Design: We work from measured acoustic targets, not guesswork. Every detail — from isolator selection to wall build-ups and glazing thickness — is specified to control vibration and airborne noise. Room layouts and geometry are addressed early, ensuring the space sounds right as well as being quiet.

Build: Our teams are experienced in installing floating floors on acoustic isolators, resilient wall and ceiling systems, and double or triple glazing with deep reveals. We coordinate closely with leading suppliers ensure isolators, hangers, and ties are performing as designed.

Performance: Each project is verified through acoustic testing. We regularly achieve Dw values above 70dB and ambient noise levels below NR20, ensuring professional-grade results even in high-noise urban environments.

Typical Features

Floating Floors: Multi-layer systems on isolators tuned to 8–10Hz to block underground rail and road vibration.

Isolated Walls & Ceilings: Heavy Soundbloc partitions, independent studs, and MF ceilings on spring hangers for maximum isolation.

Acoustic Glazing: Specialist double or triple-laminated glass with deep reveals, built to eliminate external flanking noise.

Fabric-Wrapped Acoustic Finishes: Stretched fabric walls and ceilings incorporating absorbers and diffusers to control reverberation and provide a professional listening environment.

Ventilation Systems: Mechanical supply and extract with attenuated ductwork, balancing fresh air with quiet operation.

Dedicated Power: Clean earth and high-capacity circuits designed for modern production setups.

Projects

Over the years we’ve delivered studios for musicians, podcasters, producers, and educational institutions.
